Huawei is reported finalizing development of its new octa-core processor, dubbed Hisilicon K3V3.

It will reportedly feature a new technology that improves power efficiency and also cools the processor when running at high temperature.
The K3V3 development was confirmed by Huawei CEO Richard Yu, who added that the processor will be based on the ARM architecture (Cortex A15, we assume), like many other rival manufacturers, and can be clocked up to 1.8GHz. The accompanying GPU will be based on the Mali architecture at 28nm.
The Hisilicon K3V3′s tech will also supposedly auto-charge the processor when running at high temperature, while cooling the device and providing longer standby time. No word yet on when we can expect to see the K3V3 processor, and in what piece of technology from Huawei.
