Seagate has now started to ship their next generation of hybrid drives named Momentus XT hybrid drives, these drives are more powerful and performance upgraded device. These large capacities offered by Seagate would become the worlds fastest 2.5inch laptop PC hard drive.
The Momentus XT uses the most powerful Seagate`s Adaptive Memory technology, it optimizes the drives speed and performance by frequently moving the used data into the 4GB reserve disk space of the overall solid state memory.
Momentus XT is also an excellent powerful hard drive even if the 4GB reserve disk space is used up. The drive is optimized for high level computing purposes and the drive features a spindle speed of 7200 RPM, and these drives are available in capacities of 250GB, 320GB or 500GB.
Currently the pricing of 250GB model in India would cost you around Rs.6500 , and the 320GB would be priced at Rs.7200, and 500GB model would hold a price tag of Rs.8000. These prices are not the exact prices available on stores. The prices may be higher than the prices quoted above.
