Samsung has begun the OTA update of Android 4.4.2 KitKat to the Exynos version (SM-N9000) of Galaxy Note 3 in India. The update is now available over-the-air and via Kies application. The update is close to 361 MB in size and the build number is KOT49H.N900XXUDNA6 after the update.
If you are Galaxy Note 3 (N9000) user in India, you can go to Settings -> More -> About Device -> Software Update, and click on Check for Update to get the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat. This update includes stability improvements, bug fixes and performance improvements, in addition to KitKat specific features like camera shortcut on lockscreen, font changes, cloud print support etc.

Samsung had released the KitKat update for SM-N9000 users in Russia few days back, and Indian roll out was expected to happen very soon as the Galaxy Note 3 model sold here is the same. SM-N9005 handsets had earlier received the KitKat update in regions like South Korea and Switzerland. Meanwhile the Samsung Galaxy S4 users are still waiting for the Android 4.4.2 update, which is expected to be rolled out next month.
The UI remains the same in most cases. If you have updated the device and experiencing any issues, let us know via the comment section below.
