Union Metrics, a member of Tumblr‘s recently launched ‘A-List Partnership Program,’ has announced that its analytics service for the blogging platform is now available to businesses.
Called Union Metrics for Tumblr, the service launches with three pricing tiers starting at $499/month — ideal for smaller brands. Currently it allows you to track top contributors and curators, monitor overall engagement and trends, analyze popular posts, and so on.
Originally introduced in October, Union Metrics for Tumblr has been in beta with more than 150 companies. With today’s launch, the service has added several new features, including full ad-hoc date filtering and access to lists. The company noted that these are the first of many additions brands can expect.
More businesses are turning to Tumblr for their blogging needs — the platform was recently named one of the top 10 sites in the U.S. As with any website or social presence, it’s important monitor the engagement of your fans. If you’re interested, you can sign up for a free seven-day trial.
If you’re a casual Tumblr user, or run a personal blog, we suggest sticking with Google Analytics, as Union Metrics’ tiers are rather pricey. The company did state that it plans on releasing support for personal blogs in the future, which might be more suitable for small and personal brands.
