Sony Computer Entertainment has officially announced a price drop on PlayStation Portable 3000 Slim series game console to $130 (Rs. 5,850 approx.) for a basic bundle. This new price would be from February 27 but it s unsure whether these prices would be effective only in North America or applicable worldwide. The PSP 3000 Entertainment Packs will also be sold at a new low price of $160 (Rs. 7,200 approx.) for the bundle.
Sony PSP 3000 regular/core bundle is currently available for $170 (Rs. 7,650 approx.) in North America and other places. The company has dropped the prices of this model by $40 and the new price of $130 (Rs. 5,850 approx.) would be effective from this month onwards.
The company has added Assassin s Creed: Bloodlines, Dissidia Final Fantasy, LittleBigPlanet PSP, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, and Toy Story 3: The Video Game titles as part of Greatest Hits where in each game costs $20 (Rs. 900 approx.). While the new PSP Favorites titles at $10 (Rs. 450 approx.) includes Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, Daxter, Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, Killzone: Liberation, SOCOM US Navy SEALs: Fire Team Bravo and Tomb Raider Anniversary.
The price of PSP Go will remain unchanged and will sell for $200 (Rs. 9,000 approx.). However, every portable gaming enthusiast awaits the official price of Next Generation PlayStation.
